SINAM applies for automation of metereological services of Kazakhstan

Results of the tender for development of the electronic archive of KazHydromet and formation of hydrometeorological data fund on the electronic media will be published soon.

The company participates in the tender which was announced within “Modernization of Hydrometeorological Services in Central Asia” project financed by the World Bank. The purpose of the project is to increase accuracy and timeliness of providing hydrometeorological services in Central Asia.

Delivery and installation of hardware and software, digitization, indexing and preservation of archival documents are provided within the project.

The similar project was realized by SINAM in Kyrgyz Republic. SINAM performed works on development of the infrastructure for storage of the documents of KyrgyzHydromet, hardware and software for conversion of archive into an electronic format was installed, local computer network was created and automated workplaces were prepared for employees within the project started in March, 2014.
