Implementation situation of FARABI project was discussed in detail
Presentation on “Initial results of new financing mechanism in higher education institutions, implementation situation and perspectives of FARABI project in education system” was held on June 27.
The minister of education Mikayil Jabbarov, minister of finance Samir Sharifov, rectors, chief accountants and heads of human resources department of universities participated at the presentation.
The minister of education Mikayil Jabbarov and minister of finance Samir Sharifov spoke about essence of the new financing mechanism and initial results of its implementation in higher education institutions at the beginning of the presentation.
The minister of finance S. Sharifov mentioned that implementation of information technologies for management of the education system was progressive case. The minister said that, realization of FARABI project would support automatization of financial and accounting reporting of higher education institutions at the level of national and international standards, expanding financing and management opportunities and implementation of some additional modules for management of human resources.
Presentations of the department head of the Ministry of Education E. Amrullayev and founder of Khazar University H. Isakhanli on performance indicators of higher education institutions, search of new sources of finance and financial effectiveness, caused interest.
The presentation of SINAM E. Aliyev included issues about current implementation situation of FARABI project, dynamics of the process, existing problems and proposals on their solutions.
Presentations were discussed and representatives of higher education institutions expressed their opinions on discussed issues.
The minister of finance S. Sharifov said that, it was important to attract more trained and responsible employers for implementation of the project and create material interests for participants of the process. He advised to prepare monthly reports for rectors and hold conferences with the working group in order to regulate implementation process operatively.
