E-map of Turkey will be available in GoMap

The electronic map of Turkey will be included in GoMap (gomap.az) in the next two months.

The project Gomap.az is initiated by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan, and it is conducted by SINAM.

“We already received electronic map of Turkey, and works on its integration into GoMap are conducted at present. The map of Turkey will be available for users of GoMap within the next two months”, – it was told at the company. The agreement on integration of the map of Turkey into GoMap was achieved with the Turkish company Infotech. The project is realized at the level of partnership with this company.

GoMap allows to lay a uniform route in the territory of Azerbaijan and Georgia. Expansion of coverage of GoMap will make this service useful for tourists visiting Turkey. They will visit tourist zones of Turkey much more conveniently after extension of the map.

GoMap is one of the first resources in the South Caucasus and Central Asia which is developed on the basis of cloud technologies. Route laying function is integrated into the map as well. Besides, the electronic map contains photos and descriptions of historical and cultural monuments.
