InfoBase BTB Bank was transferred to the new DATA center

Information base of BTB Bank is transferred to the new DATA center. Migration was carried out by SINAM within 48 hours in real-time regime. The bank could continue to carry out all bank operations in the standard regime during this difficult technological procedure.

Neither users of the information system, nor clients of the bank didn't feel migration process. Working day of the bank lasted in the usual mode without delays and losses of information when financial transactions were carried out by means of the system.

Storage capacity of new DATA center of the bank is 30 terabytes. The center is equipped with HP Blade servers and operating system VmWare vSphere 6.0. Now all information of the bank is also duplicated in the reserve center along with the main database.

Due to the information given by the head of the information security department of BTB Bank Rashad Nasirov, implementation of new center is directly connected with expansion of activity of the bank in Azerbaijan.

“Migration of data from one center to another without suspension of bank operations became possible only owing to the professional team of experts. New technologies implemented in the new center created virtualization opportunity. New center possesses more extensive opportunities for faster processing and storage of bank information”, – he told.
