ITU Telecom World 2015 was held in Budapest
ITU Telecom World 2015 was held in Budapest, Hungary. ITU Telecom-2015 was organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) – agency of the United Nations for information communication technologies (ICT).
The event, which continued until October 15, brought together key policy makers, regulators, industry experts, investors, entrepreneurs and innovators.
The exhibition featured digital solutions from emerging and developed markets, showcasing the smartest ideas and entrepreneurial spirit of start-ups from countries, regions and top industry names across the world.
Participants of the exhibition include Huawei, Intel, Magyar Telekom, TDIA and ZTE with countries and SMEs represented different countries including Azerbaijan, China, Djibouti, Hungary, Republic of Korea, Malawi, Nigeria, and Saudi Arabia.
Azerbaijan was represented by the delegation headed by Minister of Communication and High Technologies Ali Abbasov.
Azerbaijan participated at the event with the national pavilion and representatives from government agencies and 20 private IT companies.
The minister Ali Abbasov made a speech at the summit of communication regulators held within the framework of ITU Telecom World 2015.
