An electronic, digitized library meeting modern standards has been put into operation at Ganja State University. Students and academic staff can now visit the Ganja State University website (gdu.edu.az) and, via the “Electronic Library” link (gdu.empro.az), access a rich collection of books that meets modern needs. Publications available in the University Library’s existing database will be gradually added to the electronic library system.
The main goal is to ensure that library services at Ganja State University are improved in line with modern information technologies and that more efficient services are provided.
The electronic library program at the University operates with the support of SINAM LLC.
It should be noted that training was conducted for the staff of the Library and Information Center in connection with the launch of the electronic library at GSU. During the training, detailed information was provided on entering data into the system and working with the electronic catalog, and the rules for membership and use of the electronic library were also explained.
